Regan + Kelvin’s Engagement Session at Phil Hardberger Park

Like many of my couples, I had the honor of meeting Regan, Kelvin AND their sweet Kylar in my office space back in January of this year. These two have been together for 12 YEARS, y’all! Like MYSPACE DAYS! What?! Kylar was shy in my office, but WOW did she come alive on Engagement session day! Miss Chatty Cathy kept me company during Mom + Dad’s, Regan + Kelvin’s Engagement Session at Phil Hardberger Park with lots to talk about that evening… a real-life doll, IMO. And Regan + Kelvin revealed through my lens the history of their love through genuine poses and glances only true love can exchange. It was a blessing to get to witness this family in their element: each other. I cannot begin to express the excitement for November so these two can finally tie that knot!
HOW THEY MET
Wheeww so long ago! Lol Me and Kelvin have been together since 2010. We met through mutual friends. When I first met him I literally had no interest when my best friend introduced us! Lol A few years fly by and I see a picture of him, I believe it was on “myspace” and I asked my best friend who was that and she was like Regan that’s him that’s Kelvin the guy I’ve been trying to tell you to give a chance! We end up exchanging numbers and it’s been a journey ever since! We’ve literally grown up together the good the bad we’ve overcome everything that has been thrown at us!
THE PROPOSAL
Kelvin proposed to me 2019 Christmas eve at my parents. Every year my family throws a Christmas eve party. We had just finished playing our traditional white elephant game and my dad walks up to Kelvin and says“here you go Kelvin I got you one extra gift” and at that point I literally had no idea! I was more like wait why did my dad give Kelvin an extra a gift and not me! Lol Kelvin starts opening it and the gift keeps getting smaller and smaller and I’m still clueless. Finally I see a black box and I lose it. I ugly cried for sure! He dropped on one knee and asked me to be his wife! ABOUT time! Hahaha!
