When you meet a couple like Clarissa + Robert, you instantly acquire a window into their journey together. They love to laugh, have fun, enjoy games and make life interesting. They are what seems to be the definition of best friends, Webster’s view on patience, and a YOLO vibe that is entirely infectious. These two planned their wedding while overseas in Korea with the help of Clarissa’s mom, Yong, whom I met at our wedding consult. There’s no surprise that with their attention to detail and perseverance through the COVID cancelation of their OG date *July 18, 2020, this wedding was nothing short of perfection. Yong’s talent of throwing a whimsical event, partnered with her daughter’s vision and dreams and the coordination by Alyssa to make it all come together, Clarissa + Robert’s Navy and Silver wedding at the Club at Garden Ridge was Pinterest-perfect!

June 24th was 95ºF, clear skies, and welcomed beautiful, summer blooms all around. Robert was consumed with peace, composure and readiness, Clarissa was getting pampered and dolled up in preparation for the day. Time was on our side, a gentle breeze seemed to prepare the wedding bells and whisper the invisible excitement across the leaves. And then she was ready and it was time for Dad to get his first look. Billy stood patiently by the windows’ curtains, and the closer Clarissa drew to her dad, the more emotion began to build. As she gently tapped him on his right shoulder, Clarissa revealed what she had been waiting these past two years to show him… her day was here and she looked stunning. His tears and soft expressions said everything, leaving not a dry eye in the room – including my own.

I won’t spoil the rest of the day for you as it unraveled into a perfect blend of celebration, love, joy and fun. A special shout-out to all the vendors below which made this day EVERYTHING that it was. Thank you ALL!
