Having thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing through this session from Saturday as I went image by image and carefully edited each one in Lightroom, you have to know how impatiently I waited for Brittany + Javasse’s Engagement Session at The Prospect House in Dripping Springs to happen. FINALLY, driving that gorgeous trek from San Antonio to almost Austin, I arrived to the venue. A complete interior white-wash, hill country exterior, an incredible view with an altar to dream about and all the beautiful sun we could hope for… thankfully since it stormed before and after! I couldn’t have been happier with the venue choice by Brittany and Google! Haha.
Hanging out with Brittany and Vasse, Javasse Jr. and Nicole (Brittany’s Sister) was better than FaceTime (where we initially met)! They made my job easy, fun, graceful and perfect. I’m also thankful for people like Kristi at The Club at Garden Ridge for introducing me to this amazing family!!! I’ll be over here, dreaming about their wedding for the next YEAR as we wait for it to approach! August at the Club is going to be fun, fancy, elegant and dripping with celebration! And can I just say that I LOVE that their color scheme is Black and White!!!! Don’t forget to read their love story below! Cheers to Javasse + Brittany!!!!!! 💕🥂
“Javasse and I met through mutual friends at a bar and ended up connecting through social media after that. Twitter was really popular then and we talked through there and linked up on Sunday Funday with a few friends and my sister. We had been casually dating for months and ended up just starting to introduce each other as boyfriend and girlfriend. Vasse runs a club basketball program and I was called his girlfriend/wife all the time by the parents so he didn’t really have a choice. 🙃 Our first fancy date was at Chama Gaucha (still our favorite place to go) and our first casual hang out was on a Sunday day at Houlihans. Vasse proposed in New Orleans. One of our favorite places to go. I literally had no idea and the video of us even shows that. He is a clown a lot of the time so I thought when he stood up to make a toast that he was just being silly. Turns out, he got down on one knee and proposed. We got to experience that with two of our closest friends and my sister. The whole restaurant was in on it and we were sent champagne by a bachelorette party. It was pretty amazing. There was even a chord band playing music there.”
