Haley + Jered’s Wedding at the Club at Garden Ridge is finally here!!!! It’s crazy to think that I met them back during Shelter-in-Place in 2020 in a virtual consult. That feels like AGES ago, now! If you don’t know Haley + Jered yet, you have to know they met back in middle school! Too young to see/know today as the ultimate future, but their 7th grade minds were in love, for sure! Haley would wait at her locker which was at the very bottom, and when Jered would make his daily rounds to his locker up top, he would look down and smile. They held hands to classes, told each other they loved each other, and would plan secret kisses that would never happen, haha. “How about tomorrow”, Jered would say. Even though they were off and on in middle school as middle schoolers tend to date, Haley never stopped getting butterflies around him. After drifting apart in high school, Senior year they got back together and never looked back. It was meant to be!
Their wedding day was filled with tears of joy and the full essence of what was happening. Friends and family came from all over, even Guam, to witness this joyous occasion, and Jered was reminded “it was about time.” Haha. This day was destined to happen and every part of it was beautiful. We showed up bright and early as we tend to do at brunch weddings, and the sunrise was incredible! The club was radiant with foliage as usual, with picturesque opportunities everywhere you turn! Girls were getting hair and makeup done in the bridal suite and giggles/fun resounded throughout the room. The support structure around Haley was beautiful to watch, and the excitement of the day just kept building.
After Haley’s thoughtful and tearful gifts to her parents, the aisle moment was minutes away. I can’t wait for you to watch their entire wedding story unfold below in photo form. Four grandma flower girls, chucking flowers at each person they walked past or gracefully throwing them up in the air to ready the aisle for Haley’s pathway to her first love. The emotion was powerful, the pastor’s words were on point, and the combining of the Cross was beautiful. I will never forget this glorious morning!
