A host of friends and family members banned together to witness and celebrate the love shared between the future Mr + Mrs Durans. The day started with laughter and dedication, fun and support, beauty and elegance and ended with elated celebration and pom pom twirls. Each minute that went by seemed to go fast as I looked around and listened to the sounds of the morning that would start their forever, and it was like music to my ears. To be a part of Carrie Jo + Louis’ Emerald and Gold Wedding at the McNay Art Museum is to know loyalty, friendship and unwavering love.

A Catholic Mass at St. Matthews Catholic Church, officiated by close friends and adorned with amazing, spiritual and precious moments was the perfect way to make it official. Carrie Jo and Louis were announced Mr. and Mrs Duran for the first time with the entire congregation up on their feet to cheer and welcome them into their new chapter. Tears were had, high fives were ready and it was time to party!! The McNay was soon packed, the conversations endless, the dancing – PRO – and the smiles were everywhere! What an honor it was to get to celebrate with two individuals who are loved so dearly by SO many. It speaks volumes of who they are and the impact they have on the people they surround themselves with. Congratulations, Carrie Jo + Louis! From the bottom of my heart!!!
