I am on cloud nine after Jacob + Steph’s Engagement Session in San Antonio, Tx at the always magnificent Japanese Tea Gardens! Jacob + Steph first reached out to me lat November via Wedding Wire, and I’m so glad they did! Their love for each other shines through and speaks volumes. These two met on Bumble, which I had never heard of before… The girl makes all the first moves and Jacob was along for the ride! They met at a Mexican restaurant on national margarita day (best day ever!!) and hit it off. As you can see, the rest is history!

When they asked me for their pictures to be taken at the Japanese Tea Gardens, I knew it would be flooded with people, possibly humid but above all BEAUTIFUL beyond belief! There are always trees and bushes to hide behind, flowers to create layers and lots of hiding spots that no-one knows about… but me (at least that’s what I tell myself)!

On Sunday, Steph, Jacob and I went from one place to another, and like perfect clients, they let me lead every step of the way! No Pinterest, no props, not even a link to their favorite engagement session. Just FULL TRUST! I LOVED IT! I had so much fun putting them into awkward poses that made them “nervous giggle” and even laugh out loud a few times. “Feels weird, looks great!” is my favorite motivator… because it’s so true!!!

But above the silly posing and coaching I do, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the way Jacob looks at Steph and the way Steph lights up around Jacob. No amount of coaching from me can make that happen, haha. It’s undeniable love, and it gets me dreaming about their September wedding at Gruene Estate!! Very, very soon, you will see my feed blow up with Stephanie’s wedding gown and “a lot to handle” veil! I can’t wait for Carly and I to capture their special day and make all the dreams come true for this gorgeous couple.
