Remember Dustin + Monica‘s maternity session??? They had their baby!!! Isaiah Paul Padalecki was born January 24th, 2019 at 8:26pm at 9Lbs, 3oz, 21″ long! I loved seeing Monica’s insta post just over 2 weeks ago: “Many nights I prayed for you, I wondered whether I would ever meet you. God knew my heart needed you and decided to give me the privilege of being your mom. Now I look at you and see God in your eyes. Words can’t describe the love I have for you. Welcome to this world <3 Isaiah Paul Padalecki <3.” Someone, please bring me a tissue! If you remember from their maternity blog, Dustin + Monica have been trying to get pregnant since they got married almost 3 years ago! January 24th is no ordinary day for them.

Being in the loving home of this precious, newborn baby boy was calming and wonderful. We had a small audience as the Padalecki fur-sisters (Boxers) watched off and on from behind the gate. Dustin was a gentleman from start to finish, helping me unpack and repack my things because I come with an army of props/goodies. And Monica was there the whole time, right by my side, ready to comfort, sooth and love on her bundle of joy.

Despite what you see in these pictures, It was actually quite the challenge, getting Isaiah to fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the session…. which meant more snuggling on my end! (always a bonus) But every time Isaiah fell sound asleep, I went paparazzi crazy capturing every angle and detail possible. Doesn’t he look so warm and cozy??! Hard to believe it’s the harshest time of Winter, but Dustin + Monica had the house PERFECT at 80º and I brought my heater along for that extra umph of warm snuggles. Sweet little buddy… I’ll never forget these precious moments with you! Until next time at your family session!!! 😉
