Sarah and Dylan’s Sage, Gold, White and Black Wedding at The Milestone New Braunfels’ Legacy Hall

The perfect way to launch Autumn was to celebrate with Sarah and Dylan’s sage, gold, white and black wedding at the Milestone New Braunfels’ Legacy Hall venue by Walter’s Wedding Estates! As I walked onto the premises, Barbie and her dynamic team were busy bees, calmly and excellently placing and fixing flowers to wow Sarah and all who came to celebrate this marriage between soul mates. It was breathtaking before it was even complete. After some quick setup and a march up the stairs, I walked into the pamper palace where Sarah’s circle was jamming to wedding prep music and chatting the morning away. I love getting to hear all the background noise as DETAILS commence! I think Sarah’s wedding ring/band have to be my favorite combo to DATE! Y’all, check out her RING! Dylan sure knows how to make his bride happy. The morning was certainly focused on making sure that aisle moment was one to remember, so all bridal party photos were carefully timed to make sure Dylan stayed hidden… totally worth it.

When the ceremony music began, Dylan seemed calm and collected, ready for Sarah to join him at the front, but when the ring security and flower girl finished making their debut down the aisle, Dylan took a teary turn. Sarah and her daddy walked gracefully down the aisle, Harry with a few tears of his own, and Sarah, beaming at the thought that she made her man shed a few tears for that long awaited moment. Both of her men, one by her side and the other about to be, had emotion get the best of them, and everyone couldn’t be more pleased to witness it. There was a buzz about the witnesses “did you see Dylan?” and “Awe, look, Harry’s weepy too!” Nothing makes a wedding crowd pleaser like the special tears shed by Hubby and Dad.

(Disclaimer, I encourage you to leave expectations out of the aisle moment in case your future hubby doesn’t cry. It’s okay, either way!)

Sarah + Dylan chose the sand tradition where they mixed white and blue sand together to represent their unity. It’s a perfect symbol of marriage, and I love seeing such commitment publicly displayed as a forever piece for their home. Just beautiful. And we have LOTS of witnesses that came in support to cheer them on as they said their vows so eloquently and placed rings on each other’s fingers with a sense of readiness to celebrate after they kissed with friends and family! I wish y’all who are currently reading were there to witness the laughter as they recessed down the aisle toward their reception. They did it and they were elated that it was party time!

Now, the best part of this wedding – for me *and I think them! – was the party time! This family knows how to have a good time, keep it going, and wish for more! DJ CoHost Entertainment had the dance floor going nonstop with lots of songs from the bride and groom and friends to personalize the evening – who knew so many people there knew how to do flips, cartwheels, the WORM, one-handed hand stands and break dancing! Sarah changed to her party dress, glow sticks came out of the box, drinks kept flowing and the night felt young! The Caddells and The Hewlett can Party, play corn hole, make you laugh and apparently make you cry, haha… It’s a night I will not soon forget! Dylan even picked up his bride at the end of the night after their late night WhataBurger snack and showed off his new wife to the crowd at the peek of a song! Everyone cheered their way to the sparkler exit and the rest is HISTORY!!!!!!!! Congratulations again, you two!
