Zac + Molly’s Wedding at San Fernando Cathedral + Omni La Mansion Del Rio

Well, it’s been a week since Zac + Molly’s Wedding at San Fernando Cathedral + Omni La Mansion Del Rio, and I’m still reminiscing! I think I will be drooling over this wedding for years to come as it was effortless, timeless, elegant, simple, smooth, graceful and completely perfect. It was truly like a dance. From the shoes to the florals to the decor and the smiles it was like the beauty inside Molly’s core being was laid out for all to see. At every turn of “ooh”s and “awe”s was followed by “oh that is just so Molly”. I thought I got to know this sweet couple during their engagement session at Landa Library, but the wedding day unveiled all of the true essence of this sweet, precious bride I had the honor of not only meeting but being there to capture an entire new chapter of hers and Zac’s life. Even in EJ’s speech (Molly’s Sister), she spoke of Zac and how she grilled him on why he chose Molly: The elegance, grace and class she walks in with a quiet, reserved demeanor and a beauty that is captivating – Zac was smitten. EJ knew at the thought of Zac’s response that it was okay to let her sister go and marry this man who sees the true her.

Zac + Molly are another one of my Bumble couples… where women make the first move! Of course, being shy and classy, Molly let Zac make the first move after texting back and forth a while. After bowling at Pinstripes in Georgetown, seeing the Nutcracker the following Friday, Pizza Dates, coffee dates and shopping for ugly Christmas sweaters together, Zac asked Molly to be his girlfriend. Definitely – if you haven’t already – check out the rest of their story HERE!

“First thing in the morning, at home, just us and the dog could not have been a more perfect way for him to propose!”

Molly

Knowing their history of their proposal and getting to know them a bit during their wedding consult and engagement session, just picture: my photographer station was to stand close to the altar, and so I got to listen to the priest up close speak of the love between Zac and Molly. It was incredibly special. He told stories and lovingly shared their journey. I watched through my lens, literally behind the scenes, and saw so much love, laughter and tears that my heart journey’d with them. Whether they were standing, sitting or kneeling, each moment of Mass was like a glorious melody, touching each soul with a beautiful, undeniable light. Witnessing their marriage was an honor, yes, but it was also a blessing.

After mass it was picture time and then off to Omni La Mansion Del Rio via Party Bus! When we arrived at the GRAND hotel, and first thing was first: Gather all family members and meet in the courtyard! CHECK! People from ALL OVER THE WORLD came for this glorious occasion, and while it was a challenge getting that many people into a group photo… Challenge accepted. We piled everyone in and they were the most delightful crew! I even met a couple from my little hometown of Redding, CA! How about that?! Finally, it was party time.

The reception was so elegant with blue uplighting, a simple yet perfectly classy cake and white and navy colors everywhere. One of my favorite parts of the night was the garter, lol. Zac and his cowboy hat that he lent to Molly for the night, a single, white rose to add to her hair, just above her ear, and a dance around her chair to remember! She was beaming and laughing the whole time while all her friends and family cheered and hollered! The toasts were nothing short of sweet and the dancing was a blast, especially Zac + Molly’s rehearsed first dance! Justin Pace at Pace Productions introduced them with something I can ONLY describe as a TRUE RADIO VOICE, and these two love birds danced across all four corners of that dance floor like pros! I cannot wait for you to scroll through their wedding day!!!!!! You’ll quickly see what I mean when I say the whole day was like a dance…
